All Pickleballers,
We are excited to announce our upcoming PICKLEBALL Tournament on Sunday, September 7th. Our Competitive group and Recreation group will both start at 9am, using two courts each. A lunch will be provided by the Pickleball Committee paid for by your entrance fee. We will have access to the Pavilion, so please bring your key fobs so bathrooms and the water-bottle filler will be available.
The format will be similar to last year’s tournament. Each player is guaranteed five games, and each game you will be paired with a different partner selected at random.
Round Robin Games: Timed (12 minutes) or play to 11 points - win by 2.
Semi-Finals: Not timed; play to 11 points - win by 2.
Finals: Play to 15 points - win by 2.
The semi-finals and finals should be starting just after noon, and will be a great chance for everyone to watch, cheer, and enjoy some exciting Pickleball action.
Note: Rain date is Sunday, September 14th.
Please REGISTER (in one group only) no later than Friday, August 24th. Registration will be secured by paying the $10 fee. You will be on a waiting list until the entrance fee of $10 is received. Only 16 spots per group will be available, so pay to grab a spot to play. After payment is received, you will be added to the players list.
Payment of $10:
- E-transfer to Madeline at madjoe1989@hotmail.com. Put name(s) of players in the e-transfer message space; or
- Give cash to Madeline at Club Play or at 114 Equinelle Drive.
