Billiard League Registration: January to April 2026 Session

Session Details

The next session of the Equinelle Billiard League will cover the remainder of the season, running from Monday, January 5 to Friday, April 3. Divisions include: 8-Ball, 9-Ball, 10-Ball, and a Women's Division.

FargoRate (FR) and New Players

Some divisions are based on the FargoRate (FR), which functions as a player's handicap.

• Returning Players: Players must include their current FargoRate (found at https://fairmatch.fargorate.com) when registering.  

• New Players: Please contact us at info.eqbilliardleague@gmail.com to coordinate a meeting at the club to determine your starting FR.

• Mandatory Orientation: All new players must attend an orientation session covering rules, scoring, strategy, and sportsmanship.

Key Registration Dates

• Registration Opens: Saturday, December 27 at 8:00 am

• Registration Closes: Tuesday, December 30 at 12:00 pm (noon)

• To register click on the respective division(s) highlighted in blue below and pay the required fee, as this is a new season.

Scheduling Notes

Players are encouraged to register even if they will be away for part of the session, as we can accommodate player availability. Please include any vacations, restrictions, or blackout dates when registering for each division. If you are interested in being a spare, please be specific as to the division(s) in which you would like to spare, and note that you can only play on one team per division.

• Start Times: The start times listed below are projections and may change slightly based on the level of interest and player availability. For example, if there is only enough interest for 6 teams in the Daytime 8-Ball Division, the 8:00 am start time will not be used. 

• Varied start times: The start time for each team will vary from match to match, week to week. For example an 8-Ball team may play the early match on, say, the Monday and the late match on the Wednesday. 

• Work restrictions: It is understood that some players are still working, so their teams' schedule will be reflective of this restriction and they will not be scheduled to play in the early time slot.

• 9-Ball/10-Ball FR Adjustments: The FR cut-offs for the various 9-Ball and 10-Ball divisions may be adjusted. These cut-offs depend on the FR of all registrants, and a player may be moved to a different starting time as a result.

Divisions & Times

8-Ball

• Daytime Open: Mondays/Wednesdays – 8:00 am, 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm

• Nighttime Above FR 430: Mondays/Wednesdays – 4:00 pm, 5:20 pm, 6:40 pm, 8:00 pm

• Nighttime Below FR 429: Tuesdays/Thursdays – 3:45 pm, 5:45 pm, 7:45 pm

• Women’s: Fridays – 1:00 pm

9-Ball

• Daytime (Below FR 440 - race to 4): Tuesdays – 8:00 am

• Daytime (FR 440 to 499 - race to 5): Tuesdays – 10:30 am

• Daytime (Above FR 500 - Race to 7): Tuesdays – 1:00 pm

10-Ball

• Daytime (Above FR 500 - race to 5): Thursdays – 8:00 am

• Daytime (FR 440 to 499 - race to 4): Thursdays – 10:30 am

• Daytime (Below FR 440 - race to 3): Thursdays – 1:00 pm

Note: Starting times may adjust depending on registrations.

Orientation Sessions

New players to the league and those playing 9/10-Ball are strongly encouraged to attend. No registration is required.

• 9/10-Ball Orientation (New players/All are invited): Friday, January 2 – 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm

• League Orientation (New Players): Sunday, January 4 – 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm

Membership & Fees

• Cost: $40 (includes BCAPL 2026 calendar-year membership).

• Payment should be made via e-transfer to eqbilliardleague@gmail.com (no security question required).

Important Notes

• Confirmation: Ensure you receive a confirmation email for each division in which you register. If you receive no confirmation, your registration is not complete. In this case, please contact us at info.eqbilliardleague@gmail.com.
