The next session of the Equinelle Billiard League will begin play on Monday, the 30th of September and will run until the 20th of December. This session we will be hosting various divisions including 8-Ball, 9-Ball, 10-Ball and new this season is a Sunday afternoon Women’s Division. Players may participate in as many sessions and game varieties of their choosing throughout the year.
Players should note that some of the leagues are defined by skill level (FargoRate (FR)) so if you are new to the league and are not sure of your starter rating, please reach out to us at eqbilliardleague@gmail.com. New players to the league or new to the 9/10-Ball divisions should register for one of the orientations listed below as we will be covering off the rules, scoring, strategy, and sportsmanship.
It is important to note that even if you plan to be away for part of a session, you are still encouraged to sign up to play in the league, as we can easily schedule around vacations, travel, and blackout dates. The breakdown of the various divisions offered this coming session are as follows:
8-Ball Divisions
The daytime 8-Ball division will be played on Mondays, Wednesdays and is open to all players. Start times will be at 10:30 am, 12:15 pm and 2:00 pm.
The Monday and Wednesday night 8-Ball division will be reserved for players that have FargoRates at or above 400. Start times will be at 4:00 pm, 5:20 pm, 6:40 pm and 8:00 pm.
The Tuesday, Thursday night 8-Ball division is reserved for new players to the league along with players that have FargoRates less than 400. Start times will be at 4:00 pm, 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
The Women’s 8-Ball division will be played on Sundays with start times at 1:00 pm and 2:15 pm.
9-Ball Division
The daytime 9-Ball division will be played on Tuesdays and will begin play on November 5th. Start times will be at 8:00 am for lower rated players and 12:30 pm for higher rated players. The cut off for the FargoRates will be determined once the registration has closed.
10-Ball Division
The daytime 10-Ball division will be played on Fridays and will begin play on November 8th. Start times will be at 8:00 am for higher rated players and 12:30 pm for lower rated players. The cut off for the FargoRates will be determined once the registration has closed.
Registration
The annual cost to join the league is $40 which provides each player a membership in the BCAPL in which the league is sanctioned. Membership fees should be e-transferred to the league’s email address at eqbilliardleague@gmail.com which is set up for auto deposit. Only new players to the league need to pay in the fall when registering and the 2025 dues will be collected when registering for the January session.
To register please click on the respective division(s) below that you wish to join. When registering please identify any black out dates or time restrictions (e.g., away for two weeks in November, not available to play on 4 December and unable to play at 2:00 pm on Mondays). It is requested that players include their FargoRate (https://fairmatch.fargorate.com/) as this information along with black out dates allows for us to place a player on the most appropriate team. New players can also enter n/a for FargoRate as they will be provided a starter rating. When registering please also identify any of the divisions in which you are available to spare. Registration closes midnight on Friday September 20th.
