Nervous System Regulation Class

This class is to help you understand the many ways chronic stress and trauma dysregulates your nervous system, change your physiology and consequently impact your health.

The nervous system is the command centre of our bodies, constantly working to keep us balanced and safe. But when we're overwhelmed by news, social media, family, social demands, the relentless ping of notifications, work, illnesses and  unexpected events, our nervous system can get stuck in overdrive = stress + anxiety. Over time this can leave us feeling frazzled, exhausted and more prone to burnout and chronic illnesses.

Nervous system dysregulation can look like this:

  • anxiety
  • chronic pain
  • pelvic pain
  • poor sleep
  • headaches/migraines
  • lack of energy/exhaustion
  • burnout
  • digestive issues/IBS
  • POTS
  • fibromyalgia
  • depression
  • post-viral syndromes

Despite the various conventional and  alternative approaches, supplements, dietary changes and energy medicine, if you still feel stuck, or lack of improvement, your nervous system may be at the root cause.

The path to regulation begins with understanding the body brain connection.

Education = Regulation

This  class is an introduction to nervous system regulation: learning and practice. 

  • The class will be 90 min
  • Bring a notebook if you want to take notes
  • We will be sitting on chairs for the learning and a blend of sitting and standing for the practice.
  • Wear comfortable clothing, dress in layers and wear indoor shoes or slippers to keep your feet warm!
