Introduction to Acrylic Painting & Color Theory
The aim of this course is to help get you started on your personal creative journey with acrylic paints. We will concentrate on understanding the materials and tools used with this medium. In the first weeks, we will do exercises to explore the fundamentals of color theory: hue, temperature, value and chroma. And in the latter weeks, you will work creating the illusion of 3D on 2D support, and end with a painting of a simple subject. Once you have registered, I will send you the supplies list.

Continuing Your Creative Journey With Acrylics
In this course, we will continue to explore this medium and concentrate on issues like atmospheric perspective, linear perspective, composition and color schemes. We will also explore color theory more in depth, as well as experiment with ways to create more light in a painting. Each student is to bring his/her own supplies, plus a plastic table cloth.
