…continues in the exercise studio Tuesdays 10 - 11 am Hatha Yoga; and Thursdays 9:30 - 10:30 alternating betweenYin/Restorative Yoga and Hatha Yoga. No experience necessary. There is no commitment and there are no sessions for these classes. It’s a simple pay-as-you-go set-up: $10/class. Options and modifications are plentiful in any of these classes.

Hatha Yoga - Tuesdays at 10 am and every other Thursday at 9:30 am
This class combines mindful movement, both static and dynamic - vinyasas (breath-paired movement sequences), asanas (yoga postures) and breathing to improve strength, stability, flexibility, balance, concentration and general health (physical, mental and spiritual).
Yin/Restorative Yoga - every other Thursday at 9:30 am
This class is appropriate for everyone - from the sedentary and low-energy to the elite athlete - we all need to de-stress and relax. It is a slow-paced, relaxing, gentle practice
- the body is supported with the help of props such as straps, blocks and bolsters.
- passive poses to soothe the body and still the mind.
- breathing techniques and full-body guided relaxation
- this practice helps prevent injury from tightness and tension, trains you to mentally slow down, prepares the body and mind for meditation, encourages greater self-awareness and calms the nervous system.
