Dear fellow resident club members,
After my volunteering at Kemptville Korners (Habitat for Humanity) was complete in August 2024, I started volunteering with Shalom Small Homes in Kemptville.
This smaller organization has a huge heart. Builders, electricians, volunteers (many of them seniors), the town and community stepped up to build small apartment sized homes for Seniors to rent. The project is amazing and has plans to build many more.
So with that I have attached a few ways you can help.
- A Legacy walk and bike a thon is planned for June 14 2025.
- If you are interested in participating or volunteering please get in touch.
- Another fundraiser that is ongoing is attached below.
Shalom Small Homes needs $500,000 to build 4 small homes. If $1,000,000 is raised, 8 homes will be built.
