Introduction to Acrylic Painting & Color Theory
The aim of this course is to help get you started on your personal creative journey with acrylic paints… and to have fun! In the very first class, I will go over the supplies list with you and explain each item. During the next few weeks, we will focus on understanding how to use the materials and tools, and you will do exercises to explore the fundamentals of color theory: hue, temperature, value and chroma. And in the latter weeks, you will work creating the illusion of 3D on 2D support, and end with a painting of a simple subject. Once you have registered, I will send you the supplies list as well as information regarding the first class.
