Registration Closes: Sunday, 20 September at Noon

(This registration period allows teams and schedules to be finalized/published before league orientation.)

SESSION OVERVIEW & FARGORATE SYSTEM

The upcoming season runs from Monday, 28 September through Friday, 18 December. To accommodate our expanding player base, we are introducing several new divisions, including five 9-Ball divisions (featuring a dedicated Women’s Division and a Mixed Scotch Doubles Division).

FargoRate (FR) Requirements & Orientations

• Most divisions use the FargoRate (FR) system, which serves as a player's handicap rating. FR requirements are listed in the divisional titles if applicable.
• Returning Players: Please submit your current FargoRate (found at fairmatch.fargorate.com) when registering.
• New Players: Contact us at eqbilliardleague@gmail.com to coordinate a meeting to determine your starting FR.
• Mandatory Orientation: All new players must attend an orientation session covering rules, scoring, strategy, game flow, and sportsmanship.

REGISTRATION FOR DIVISIONS, START TIMES & FORMATS

To Register: Click the desired division(s) below, enter your availability and blackout dates, submit payment if you are a new player, and watch for your confirmation email.

• 8-Ball Divisions

• 9-Ball Divisions (Play begins Tuesday, Nov 3)

• 10-Ball Divisions (Play begins Thursday, Nov 5)

Important Notes:

1. Start times are tentative and may change based on registration numbers.

2. Team start times vary from week to week. For example, your team may have an early match on Monday one week and a later match on the following Monday.

3. Final FR cut-offs and division assignments for 9-Ball and 10-Ball may be adjusted based on the total number of registrants.

4. Players in Mixed Scotch Doubles must also play in at least one other division to establish/maintain an active FargoRate.

ORIENTATIONS & SCHEDULING GUIDELINES (No registration required)

• League Orientation (New Players): Monday, September 21 | 7:00 PM – 9:30 PM
• 9/10-Ball Orientation (New Players/All Previous Players Welcome): Tuesday, October 27 | 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM
• Mixed Scotch Doubles Orientation (All Players): Sunday, November 1  | 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM

Scheduling Notes & Blackout Dates

• Blackout Dates: Enter all vacations, work restrictions, or blackout dates. using the calendar on the form so our scheduling software can take them into account.
• Restrictions (8-ball only): If you are unable to play before or after a certain time of day, enter that on the form.
• Couples (8-ball only): During registration, select Yes if you wish to be on the same team as your spouse, or No if you wish to be on a different team.
• Spares: Specify which division(s) you are available for (limit 1 team per division).
