It is important to note that on Tournament Day, September 26th, all players and spectators must adhere to all the Health & Safety protocols, guidelines imposed by the Ontario Government and the Lanark, Leeds, Grenville Health Unit at that time.
Sign-in: 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM; Announcements/Logistics: 8:50 AM
Game Time: 9:00 AM to approximately 4:30 PM
Cocktail Hour (optional): 5:15 PM to 6:15 PM (TBD, due to Covid-19)
Dinner & Awards Presentation: 6:15 PM (TDB, due to Covid-19)
FORMAT:
Similar to past tournaments (and if numbers allow), there will be 3 leagues with the preliminary round robin play split into those three categories:

Womens Double-A

Mixed Doubles-B

Fewer than 12 registrants in any league may result in the affected group being combined with another (for example: Mens and Womens-A merged into one Mixed Doubles-A; or on the flip-side, if we have an overwhelming response in the Mixed-B league (soft Pickleball players) we will then create a Mens-B and a Womens-B groups).
Semi-finals and finals will be made up of mixed teams.
Important to Note: The A-league is for more experienced/advanced Pickleball players. AND the B-league is for soft players (those who are new to the game, have physical limitations or simply don’t wish to participate in more aggressive play).

Participation is $10 per player (see payment dates below). You must register online in order to secure your spot in the tournament at www.equinelleresidentclub.com
Your registration is not complete until your registration fee is paid! Prior to Tuesday, September 7th, please see Penny Pepin or Yvonne Latta at any of these scheduled Pickleball play:

PLEASE NOTE: Registration is limited to 48 players and will close on Tuesday September 7th ORonce the limit is reached. Register early to secure your spot. Having trouble registering online, contact Steve Heath at steveheath@cogeco.ca.
As mentioned above, due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, the Cocktail & Dinner are currently not permitted. In the event that the restrictions are lifted, please indicate when asked on the registration form if you will attend the dinner.
When you register online, you will be asked the following:
· Are you an A- or B-league registrant?
· Will you attend the dinner and awards presentation?
· Are you bringing a guest to the dinner?
· Do you (or your guest) prefer a vegetarian dinner?
