For those trying to get into shape for summer activities and the golf season, a Chair Functional Movement Pilates class is scheduled for Saturday mornings, 10 - 11 am in the Studio at the EQ Residents Club. Movements will be performed standing or sitting on a chair and will help you move effectively and pain free. The exercises reinforce proper posture and body alignment so that you can correct any muscle and joint imbalances. These exercises will improve your core strength, mobility, stability, balance and range of motion. The exercises are low impact resistance and isometric exercises which do not cause damage to your joints and surrounding connective tissue.
